A family-run market in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids.
S International opened in Waterloo in 2019. People came for fresh groceries, pantry staples and ingredients they could not easily find closer to home.
Some customers regularly made the drive from Cedar Rapids. In 2025, the family opened a second market at 803 3rd Ave SE.
Today, both stores carry everyday groceries alongside produce, meat, seafood, rice, spices, frozen foods, snacks, drinks and foods used in households from many places.
